How the Criminal Profile system works — replacing RDR2's Honor system with reputation-based consequences.
GTA 6 introduces the Criminal Profile system, which replaces Red Dead Redemption 2's Honor system. Instead of a simple good/evil meter, your profile tracks how NPCs and police perceive you.
How It Works
- Face Recognition: Police can identify you by face. Wear masks during crimes to prevent identification.
- Clothing Matters: distinctive outfits make you recognizable. Change clothes after crimes.
- Vehicle Tracking: Police remember your car. Use different vehicles or switch plates.
- Reputation Spreads: Word travels — commit crimes in an area and NPCs will be wary of you.
Tips
- Keep a "clean" outfit for going out in public
- Store getaway cars in your trunk for quick changes
- Use the WAINK app to check if a car has a tracker before stealing it
- At 6-star wanted level, police use helicopters and roadblocks
